Die Spannung wächst....

11 Uhr ging es los mit Stefan Lehfellner, der den Grand Prix als erstes mit seinem Pferd eröffnete.

Im täglichen Training war es schon beeindruckend das Stadion zu sehen. Doch jetzt war so eine Stimmung hier, es knisterte richtig.

Es waren 34 Grad und die Hitze hat uns alle im Stadion regelrecht gegrillt. Wir waren quasi nur 1 mal nass.

In der 2. Gruppe startete Jayden mit Quincy B. Will gab mir eine "Kiss & Cry" Karte, so durfte ich mit ins Stadion und mit dem Team auf der Plattform stehen. Ich sage Euch, ich war genauso aufgeregt wie, wenn Will reiten würde. Jayden hat es fantastisch gemacht. Auch er ist das erstemal bei den Olympischen Spielen qualifiziert. Ein paar kleine Fehler sind Ihnen unterlaufen. Doch es war ein sehr sehr schöner Ritt. Er war so erleichtert, das ihm danach die Freudentränen liefen. Ach mensch ist das emotional 🥺

Die nächsten Starter habe ich am Einritt, mit sehr vielen bekannten Reitern im Schatten unter einem Baum geschaut. Vieleicht erkennt Ihr ja, wer da sitzt 😉. Anders war es kaum noch möglich, die Hitze zu ertragen.

Es war sehr spannend und es waren so viele Ereignisse in dem Grand Prix. Wenn man denkt die Pferde sind ja routiniert, ha denkste. Hier ist Olympia und es kann anders kommen als geplant.

Am Abend ging ich noch Frodo besuchen. Der fand die Hitze übrigens auch nicht so prickelnd. Er hat ein neues Spielzeug gebastelt bekommen, denn er bettelt im Stall nach Aufmerksamkeit und möchte gern die ganze Zeit bespasst werden. Ach Frodo ❤️

Im Chateau zurück bin ich erst einmal in den Pool gesprungen. Puh, das tat sehr gut. Am Abend sind wir in Paris mit Lieben Freunden aus unserem Stall in der Schweiz zusammen Abendessen gegangen. Es wurde ein wenig gefachsimpelt und das sehr feine Essen genossen.

Mit einem Spaziergang zum Sacré-Cœur, haben wir die Nacht ausklingen lassen. Auf den Pariser Strassen war so eine schöne Atmosphäre, Musik spielte und alle waren so ausgelassen. Ich fühlte mich ein wenig wie „ Emily in Paris“ 😁

So jetzt sollte ich schlafen, morgen ist unser grosser Tag 🌟

Grand Prix Part 1

The excitement grows....

11am it started with Stefan Lehfellner, who was the first horse to open the Grand Prix.

It was already impressive in the daily training. But now there was such an atmosphere in the stadium, it was really sizzling.

It was 34 degrees and the heat grilled us all in the stadium.

Jayden started in the 2nd group with Quincy B. Will gave me a Kiss and Cry card, so I got to go into the stadium and stand on the platform with the team. I tell you, I was just as excited as I would be if Will was riding. Jayden did a fantastic job. He also qualified for the first time at the Olympic Games. They made a few small mistakes. It was a very, very nice ride. He was so relieved that he was in tears afterwards. Oh man, that's emotional 🥺

I watched the next starters at the entrance with lots of well-known riders in the shade under a tree. Maybe you can recognise who is sitting there 😉 Otherwise it was hardly possible to bear the heat.

It was very exciting and there were so many events in the test. When you think the horses are experienced. But think again, this is the Olympics and things can turn out differently than planned.

In the evening I went to visit Frodo. He didn't like the heat either, by the way. He's been given a new toy because he begs for attention in the stable and wants to be looked after all the time. Oh Frodo ❤️

We ended the night with a walk to the Sacré-Cœur. There was such a lovely atmosphere on the streets of Paris, music was playing and everyone was so relaxed. I felt a bit like "Emily in Paris" 😁

So now I should sleep, tomorrow is our big day 🌟
